Update

It's been years since I have updated this blog about Emma. So much has happened since then. The biggest event is that we moved away from Iowa City to Chicago 3 years ago. What a change that was! Emma has been growing up to be a beautiful, imaginative and artistic young lady. It's hard to believe that she will be a teenager soon. A day doesn't go by where we don't take for granted how unbelievably lucky we are that Emma was able to grow up relatively unscathed from her very difficult beginnings. I hope anyone who reads her blog and has had a micro preemie will have hope that they too will have a child who will grow up to be a happy and thriving individual who has beaten the odds. Everything will be ok. :)
