Time Flies

We can't believe that Emma has been home now for over a month! She has been doing just great. I have gone back to work so our schedule is a bit different but adaptable. I think Lucas is finally realizing that she is staying. It's been a big adjustment for him too but he seems curious and accepting of her. He likes to try and hold her hand and the other day he tried cuddling her while she was doing floor time. He has yet to grasp the size differential. We are getting there. Emma enjoys her toys and likes having the opportunity to grasp and bring them to her mouth which are all good signs developmentally. We still have moments when we have to step back and say "whoa" is this the same baby?! Such joy what else can I say.
